Rachel Leffler Hello friends! This is a blog that, a little while ago, we would have never dreamed we’d be setting up. These last few months have been anything but ordinary as the Lord has changed the trajectory of our lives and given us an expeditious ride in a completely new direction.
We will be giving you more of those details in an upcoming post, but for now here’s the short story: we’re moving to Thailand! Although we are just ordinary laypersons without the professions commonly thought useful in the mission field, the Lord has placed a burden on our hearts to move to dark place in this world to preach the sermon that “tells more in behalf of Christianity than all the sermons that can be preached”: that of a committed Christian home.
We will be launching in January, and hope you will join us here to share in our journey. If you would like to be added to our mailing list you can do so in the sidebar or at the bottom of the page. Although Matthew will continue working online to support us once we are settled in Thailand, he will be taking time off during the move and for several months thereafter for language learning. Most of all, though, we need your prayers during this transition. Our daily prayer has been that of Moses:
“If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us?
